What is a Meridian?
In TCM, meridians (also known as acupressure vessels) are energy pathways, a network of invisible bodily energy (qi) channels that run and recharge the body’s energy fields. The meridians interconnect deep within the body core and there are specific acupressure points along the meridians. They can be envisioned as highways between the acupressure points in the body. Modern Western medicine tools have been used to map the acupressure points located along meridian pathways electronically, radioactively and thermally.
Why Meridian Massage?
Meridian massage includes specialized tools, which stroke the skin in the direction of the flow of blood and lymph, improving circulation, removing toxins, lifting sagging facial contours, minimizing fine lines and wrinkles, and improving radiance.

The Meridian Facial
The Meridian Facial is a traditional European style facial which includes the deep cleansing, exfoliating, extractions and hydration of the skin as well as a deep tissue facial massage combined with Meridian Massage. This facial is designed to lift and tone the skin to reveal noticeable results when repeated.
It starts with a scalp massage along the meridian lines on the scalp and the sides of the head with the Celadon Meridian Crown tool to awaken the senses and reduce tension.
The neck, face and décolleté are deep cleansed with a gentle botanical oil. Dead cells are gently exfoliated away. Ultrasonic extraction is performed. Then skin is calmed and protected with a facial balm followed with a penetrating moisturizer.
Afterwards, you are treated to a facial Meridian Massage using a specially designed jade tool. Jade contains many beneficial minerals and trace elements such as iron, copper, manganese, cobalt, lithium and calcium. The relaxing strokes help sculpt facial contours, lift sagging skin, improve skin tone and texture, and reduce stress and tension.
